It is precisely the male readers who say this. I'll give you an example. I write in a typically male genre (science fiction) and my readers say they appreciate the fact that I am able to give them a vision of stories with the so-called feminine touch, something that in other male authors of the genre they are unable to perceive.
It is a question of different sensitivity in imagining and showing the narrated events. To improve myself as a writer I intend to continue to try new stories, new characters, new narrative techniques, maybe even new genres, and obviously never stop writing, writing and writing.
